Biography
Nick G. Davis was born in San Antonio, Texas. Nick’s family and himself eventually moved to Waller, Texas where he graduated high school. Nick received his Bachelor of Science, with honors, from Stephen F. Austin in 2005. After graduation, Nick moved to Fort Worth to go to Texas Wesleyan School of Law. In 2008, he earned his Juris Doctorate and was admitted into the practice of law.
Since starting his law career Nick Davis has gone to trial on everything from murder to a contract dispute involving the consignment of jewelry. In total, Nick has tried around 250 cases. Almost all of them were criminal defense cases.
Nick has given continuing legal education on the topic of D.W.I. defenses. He has also been recognized by magazines due to his excellent reputation within the legal community as a good trial lawyer. (Ask around)
Nick and Blake’s mentor alike, Danny Burns, believed the ability and willingness of a lawyer to try a case no matter what the odds were tantamount to good representation. It is that never give up attitude that Nick still applies in his work. Another principle our firm derived from Mr. Danny Burns is the idea an appeal, or the preservation of one is as important as the trial itself. We at Burns and Davis pride ourselves on our ability to fight your case at every level within the criminal court system.
Nick Davis believes it is his duty to empower clients with the knowledge and the ability to get through the legal system. Nick doesn’t believe in the old school thought that one strategy is best for every client.
When he is not representing his clients in court, Nick loves to spend time with family: Nick’s wife, Rachel; son, Hank; and two dogs, Teddy and Otis. It is very enjoyable to Nick as Otis is a neurotic but loveable German Shepard. For relaxation, Nick also loves to fish, hunt and travel.
